How to whip up a classic Full English Breakfast right in your own kitchen—no passport required! 🇬🇧🍳
🛒 Ingredients
2 pork sausages
2–3 slices of back bacon
2 eggs
1 cup baked beans (canned is fine)
1 tomato, halved
A handful of mushrooms (button or cremini)
2 slices of bread (for toast or fried bread)
Optional: black pudding slices
Butter or oil for frying
Salt & pepper to taste
🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
Cook the sausages
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat.
Cook sausages for 12–15 minutes, turning regularly until browned and cooked through.
Add the bacon and black pudding
Push sausages to the side and add bacon.
Fry until golden and slightly crisp (about 3–4 minutes per side).
If using black pudding, cook for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy.
Sauté mushrooms and tomatoes
In the same or a second pan, sauté mushrooms in butter until browned.
Place tomato halves cut-side down and cook until caramelized (about 3–4 minutes).
Warm the baked beans
Heat gently in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally.
Fry the eggs
Crack eggs into the pan and cook to your liking—sunny side up is traditional.
Toast or fry the bread
Toast it, or for extra indulgence, fry it in the leftover bacon fat until golden.
Assemble and serve
Plate everything up while hot. Add a mug of tea or coffee for the full experience!
